About

February 7th, 2008 . by Lisa

I am an avid reader of lots of different authors, but I stick primarily with Christian Inspiration Fiction. Occasionally I read a non-fiction book but I really enjoy Christian fiction. My husband makes fun of me because I will leave the library with sometimes 30 books and can read them in a week or less. […]

Hello Lisa. I am an author of inspirational fiction for Barbour Books and Harlequin’s Steeple Hill line. I wondered if you would be interested in reviewing my book, Trouble Up Finny’s Nose. It’s a cozy mystery, the first in a three book series. I would be happy to send you a copy if you have time to read it. Thank you. Dana Mentink

    Hi Lisa,

I’m Rachel E. from CW, just dropped by to see your site. I really like it! Just one question, are you the only one that can post review’s on books, or would you consider opening this up to your Christian friends that you trust? I’m just curious. I read avidly and so if you ever want help with the review’s, let me know ok?
    Blessings!
    Rachel

    Hello Lisa,

I’m just fishing for resources. I am a member at ChristianWriters.com, and was looking for someone to review my book. After reading your comments here, I don’t think it’s the kind of book you’re typically interested in. It’s a 355-page Bible study of the prophecies of Daniel.

However, if you know someone who has credentials (like a pastor or professor), and could direct me to them, I’d appreciate it.

I am going to begin writing a Christian fiction book soon, and will keep you in mind for that. I love the idea of your website, and think there should be more things like this.

    Thank you.

(If you’re curious about the book, you can see it on:
    stores.lulu.com/MrSteve
But don’t buy it if you want to review it. I can send it to you free.)

    Dear Lisa,

What a wonderful site. Thanks for sharing your reviews!
I’m wondering if you’d be interested in reviewing my latest release, The Sister Pact. I’ll post in the back cover blurb.

Savannah Compton is devastated when her sister and best friend, Allison, falls into a coma after a tragic accident. Or was it an accident? Even with a charming and handsome detective at her side, it seems Savannah may never discover the truth. But if she doesn’t her family could be in even more danger. And Savannah’s past holds its own secrets that could change everything.

Now she must prove her innocence to the one person who is beginning to matter most. Join Savannah as she struggles to summon faith and rely on hope, even in the darkest of circumstances, and learn how the bond between sisters can overcome anything.

The Sister Pact is a thrilling romantic mystery, full of unexpected twists. Cami Checketts delivers an exhilarating new novel that will keep you guessing to the very last page.

    Thanks and God bless,
    Cami
