Fudge Laced Felonies by Cynthis Hickey was an entertaining and satisfying read (You can’t go wrong with chocolate). We meet our heroine Summer while she is getting onto longtime friend Ethan because he killed her rose bush (she thinks). While digging up the bush to replace it, she and Ethan discover a hidden cache of diamonds and money. She decides she’s going to solve this mystery and prove to everyone she isn’t empty headed, but winds up getting almost run down, kidnapped, and attacked.

To make things even more interesting, Summer’s in love with Ethan, who’s in love with Summer, but he doesn’t know she’s in love with him and she doesn’t know he’s in love with her. A stranger comes to town about the same times all of this other chaos starts happening but will he sweep Summer off of her feet and away from Ethan?
