Top Ten Books I Can’t Wait to Read
December 7th, 2009 . by LisaI think I could read a new book every day for the next year and still not run out of books I want to read. If you ask my husband, he’ll tell you I almost always have a book in my hand. There are so many books I see that I want to read that I started to make a list of the 10 books I wanted to read first.
As I was making that list, 10 became 20, and now the list is very long. Listed below is the first 10 books I want to read.
- They Told Me Their Stories
by Tom Welchel (this is a book that my Pastor has talked about several times)
- Endless Love
by Elizabeth Anne Ryan
- Against All Odds (Heroes of Quantico Series, Book 1)
by Irene Hannon
- Hearts in the Crosshairs
by Susan Page Davis
- The Heavenly Man: The Remarkable True Story of Chinese Christian Brother Yun
by Brother Yun
- The Corporate Escape
by Elizabeth Drake
- How You Can Be Led by the Spirit of God
by Kenneth Hagin
- The Calling
by Deborah A Hodge
- Bible Faith Study Course
by Kenneth Hagin
- Take Your Best Shot: Do Something Bigger Than Yourself
by Austin Gutwein
What books are you wanting to read?
Hi, Lisa! I don’t have a top-ten list–I’m too busy writing to read much these days. But I just wanted to say I’m thrilled that my book, “Against All Odds,” made yours! Hope you like it! Irene Hannon
Lisa, I was thrilled to come across your website and see my book number eight on your list of the top ten books you want to read. Thanks. Let me know please what you think of it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Deborah A. Hodge, deborahahodge.blogspot.com
Lisa, I like your site but I can’t find a place to contact you. I am a small time ministry publisher with two new books coming out. One is about the Sermon on the Mount by a Philippine author entitled, The Spirituality of Discontent, a great little book! Another, untitled at this point, deals with women’s role in the church. This one is sure to stir! It is encouraging for women. A well-known SBC pastor with a blog of 3.7 million hits intends to endorse it to the chagrin of the denomination.
I would love to have you look at these. Make your list the Top-12 Can’t Wait to Read. Please contact me.
