Who Brings Forth the Wind by Lori Wick is the third book in the Kensington Chronicles series. This book is the story of Anastacia “Stacey” and Tanner.

Stacey is a country girl is more concerned with pleasing others than herself and is very nervous at the thought of going to London for the summer to stay with her aunt. While she is in London she meets Tanner and he becomes determined to have her; he even marries her when that is the only way he can have her.

As they are settling into married life Tanner comes across his wife in a confrontation with another man, and having been the victim of an unfaithful spouse in the past, believes the worst and sends her away. Stacey returns to her childhood home and learns she is pregnant but doesn’t tell her husband. After three years pass she visits London, has a visit with Tanner and moves back into his house in the country, with him believing her child is another man’s.

Tanner and Stacey work out their problems and live in peace and eventually Tanner comes to know God. Through out this book, Stacey has been faithful even when she didn’t understand and God always answered her prayer or comforted her. While the behavior on Tanner’s part was a bit abusive (verbally and emotionally) this book really illustrated how God can change a person’s heart, and that a marriage can be restored.
